What makes you the best candidate (300 words or less)?
I have been an advocate for the students and teachers of our community over the past five years as an active volunteer in the schools and at the district. I am knowledgeable about the issues facing our schools and have a proven track record of uniting individuals to solve problems and create positive change. What makes you the best candidate (300 words or less)?
Brevard schools are paramount in our household. Our two children are graduates of Space Coast Jr./Sr. High School and currently attend college. My wife has been a Brevard teacher for 25 years. I have had a ring-side seat to the operations and challenges of Brevard County schools.
Board policy is made by majority vote. I have experience and success in team leadership.
• 18 year fiscally responsible business owner
• Cocoa Planning and Zoning Board 2000-2005
• Cocoa Commercial Condominium Association secretary
• 10 year Rotary service
• Brevard School ‘s Insurance Advisory Board member
Brevard has good schools and teachers. We need an administration that can properly manage spending without sacrificing essential programs for our students. We need a board member with business experience.
Fiscal responsibility is imperative. Quality schools are the foundation of thriving communities. My plan is to get the money to the classrooms where education happens.
