FDLE Arrests Former Palm Beach County Deputy Clerk
PALM
BEACH, Florida - Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Miami
Regional Operations Center arrested Jemettie Anne Mckeithen, 40, of
Sunrise, Fla., on two counts of official misconduct and one count of petty
theft.
FDLE
began its investigation in 2011 after being contacted by investigators
at the Palm Beach County Clerk and Comptroller’s Public Integrity Unit.
Agents believe Mckeithen, using the Clerk’s database, allegedly updated
her own driver’s license removing the fact that her license had been
suspended.
While working in the clerk’s office, her job was to process payments from customers who were paying their traffic citations. She is also accused of stealing money from a customer and trying to conceal the theft.
