Commissioner Andy Anderson To Shave Head For Charity
MELBOURNE, Fla. -- Details have just been announced for an auction to be
held for a chance to shave District 5 Commissioner Andy Anderson’s head
as part of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation’s event this Saturday, March
16, at The Avenue Viera.
Anderson is scheduled to have his head shaved at 2:30 p.m. An auction will start at 2 p.m., and the highest bidder will win the chance to shave Anderson’s head. Everyone interested should plan to be at The Avenue Viera by 2 p.m.
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives. St. Baldrick’s events have raised approximately $150 million since its first shave event in 2000.
