Florida Primary Polls Open Today At 7 AM

BREVARD COUNTY, Florida -- Polls open today, August 14, 2012, at 7 a.m. for Florida Primary Elections in federal, state, county, and city races.  Polls close at 7 p.m.  


Florida is a closed primary state which means that voters can only vote in party elections in the party of which they are registered.  Voters who are not affiliated with a party can still vote in non-partisan races.


Statewide, Floridians will be able to select their party's nominee in the U.S. Senate race for the seat currently held by Democrat Bill Nelson.
