Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi Endorses Wayne Ivey for Brevard Sheriff

The Wayne Ivey for Sheriff Campaign Team announced this week that the Honorable Pam Bondi, Florida’s Attorney General endorsed former Resident Agent in Charge Wayne Ivey from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement in his candidacy for Brevard County Sheriff.

"As the Attorney General for the state of Florida, I have had the unique opportunity to work with a number of outstanding law enforcement leaders. Wayne Ivey is one of those exceptional leaders. Wayne has over three decades of law enforcement experience where he has committed his efforts to protecting our communities," Attorney General Pam Bondi said.  "Wayne has implemented some of the most innovative and impacting programs developed in the law enforcement profession. His programs have become nationally recognized “Best Practices,” where he has lead and instructed officers across our country.  For these reasons and many more, I am proud to endorse his candidacy for Brevard County Sheriff.”

"I am very proud to have received the endorsement of Florida’s Attorney General Pam Bondi. AG Bondi has been actively involved in the State’s efforts to eradicate Illegal Pill Mills and the associated pill abuse epidemic," said Ivey.  "As FDLE’s Resident Agent in Charge, it was a pleasure to work directly with AG Bondi in the statewide Pill Strike Force and to coordinate Brevard’s Regional response and efforts to this very important partnership. Working directly with AG Bondi and our legislature, we will continue to develop strong legislation to protect our citizens and create effective partnerships with our citizens and business communities to provide them the information needed to protect themselves from becoming crime’s next victim.”
