Hello, my name is Steve Koons and I am running for Brevard County Judge Group 5. I grew up in Brevard County and graduated from Satellite High School. I am a Former Assistant State Attorney and a Former Assistant Attorney general.
Law is more than a career for me. I have been a lawyer for over 35 years, with my office located in Melbourne and I have the most experience out of the 3 Candidates in Group 5. I have tried numerous cases in different areas of the law such as divorce, business cases and criminal law. I have more extensive trial experience than my opponents. You do not want to elect a judge who needs a learning curve to be a judge.
Also, I have spent my career giving legal assistance to those who could not afford it. So, if elected, whether you have a lawyer or not I will give you a fair hearing and treat you with respect. Law is my passion I want to continue to make a difference in our community as your next County Court judge.
