Brevard Constitutional Officer's Straw Poll Results

MELBOURNE, Florida -- Last night the Brevard County Conservative Coalition, comprised of Brevard 912, Republican Liberty Caucus of East Central Florida, and the Space Coast Patriots, held Brevard County Constitutional Officers debates at the Holiday Inn at Viera.

 

The three races that were covered during the debate were for Brevard County Clerk of Court, Brevard County Sheriff, and Brevard County Property appraiser.

Each candidate was given two minutes to introduce themselves at the start of the debate.  Answers to questions were limited to 90 seconds with a time keeper alerting candidates of wrap-up time.

A straw poll was conducted by the Brevard County Supervisor of Elections with electronic voting machines from 7 p.m. until 9:15 p.m.  The following are the results from the straw poll:

Brevard County Clerk of Court:

Scott Ellis:  387                 Mitch Needelman: 93

 

Brevard County Sheriff:

Wayne Ivey: 310                 Todd Maddox:  205

Brevard County Property Appraiser:
