Scott Ellis Wins Clerk of Court Viewer Poll

VIERA, Florida -- Former Brevard County Clerk of Court Scott Ellis won the Brevard Times viewer poll against current Brevard County Clerk of Court Mitch Needelman 52% to 39%, respectively. Clerk of Court candidate Rodney Kernan placed a distant third with two percent of the vote.
Six percent of viewers indicated that they would rather vote for someone other than those who are currently declared candidates in this heated race.
Like a straw poll, the viewer poll is unscientific and cannot be given any weight as to how voters will actually vote come election day. However, it can indicate the level of energy and enthusiasm political activists have for a particular candidate this early in the race.
A new Brevard Times viewer poll of the Brevard County Sheriff's race begins today and will end on May 31, 2012. Viewers are able to make more than one selection in the poll because this race includes two party primaries along with a non-party affiliated candidate:
Adrian Moss-Beasley (D)
Mark Steven Orndoff (D)
Ernest Cathy (NPA)
Gary Harrell (R)
Wayne Ivey (R)
Larry “Todd” Maddox (R)
Any Republican
Any Democrat
Any Non-Party Candidate
