Virginia Judge Rules Against Gingrich, Santorum, Perry, Huntsman To Be Placed On Ballot
U.S. District Court Judge John A. Gibney, Jr. ruled against Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, Rick Perry, and Jon Huntsman today in a lawsuit brought by the candidates to be placed on the March 6, 2012 Virginia Republican Primary ballot.
In addition to not complying with Virginia law to be placed on the ballot, the judge stated in his ruling that, "the plaintiffs slept on their rights" when it came to bringing their lawsuit nearly a half a year too late.
Ron Paul and Mitt Romney have complied the Virginia law and will be placed on the Virginia ballot. So when it comes to Virginia, Ron Paul will be the only "anti-Mitt."
