Ron Paul Takes Lead In Iowa, Favored Most Amongst Young Voters
In a Public Policy Poll conducted last night, the Ron Paul 2012 campaign has taken a solid lead over Newt Gingrich in Iowa. Paul has risen from 21% to 23% just this last week.
Meanwhile, Newt Gingrich has quickly fallen from 22% to 14% in that same time period.
The new poll numbers come just after Ron Paul exceeded his fund raising goal of $4 million yesterday.
Mitt Romney also climbed in Iowa to 20%, taking him to second place in the polls.
Although the he is the oldest GOP presidential candidate, Ron Paul is a favorite amongst voters under age 45 where he leads Mitt Romney 33% to 16% in that age group.
