PALM BAY TELEPHONE TOWN HALL FOCUSES ON FIRE FUNDING

Representatives from the City of Palm Bay staff along with a consultant conducting a study into alternative funding sources for the Palm Bay Fire-Rescue Department will host a Telephone Town Hall on Monday, November 7th from 6-7 p.m.  

All residents with a publicly listed phone number should receive a telephone call during this time.  

Residents not receiving a phone call can access the Telephone Town Hall by calling 888-886-6603 and entering 17451# when prompted.

The City has received a preliminary draft report from the consultant that focuses on the methodology of the study. A copy of the report is posted on the City’s website and will be topic of the Telephone Town Hall.

Potential funding structures are still under analysis and will be provided by the end of the month.

The Council workshop scheduled for November 8 has been postponed until after the draft funding structures have been provided.
