U.S. Senator Marco Rubio Comments On Unemployment Rate
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Marco Rubio issued the following statement regarding today’s announcement that the national unemployment rate has gone up to 9.2 percent, with the economy only adding 18,000 jobs in June:
“Today’s unemployment report offers more hard evidence that the laws, regulations and dysfunction coming out of Washington are killing job creation. Job creators can’t afford job-destroying taxes. We need more new gainfully employed taxpayers, not higher taxes."
