The Republican Liberty Caucus of Florida announced that it has endorsed Tim Tumulty for Florida State House of Representatives District 51.
“For twenty five years the Republican Liberty Caucus has been a strong voice for the principles of limited government, free enterprise and individual liberty. We believe that less government means more liberty," said RLC Florida Chairman Bob White.
"We work through local and state chapters all over the country to oppose government excess and demand accountability to the people and the Constitution," continued White.
In addition to an endorsement from the RLC, Tumulty has received endorsements from the Brevard County Firefighters Professional Union, Local 2969, and the Cocoa Beach Hotel and Motel Political Action Committee.
"As your Florida State Representative, I will support the “Citizens Constitution” with policies that adhere to the 10th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, limiting the Federal Government’s control of our state and county," Tumulty pledged on his campaign website.
Tumulty's major platform issues include opposing Common Core in education and fighting the sugar industry lobby to help restore the Everglades and Indian River Lagoon.
The Florida State House of Representatives District 51 includes the Brevard County communities of Cocoa, Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral, Merritt Island, and Rockledge, Florida.
