Marco Rubio To Make Campaign Stop At 'That Little Restaurant'

MELBOURNE, Florida - Haunted by photos on social media of large venues with just a few hundred supporters, Republican Presidential hopeful Marco Rubio will make a campaign stop in Brevard County at what could be his smallest campaign setting in Florida just one day before the Florida Presidential Primary.





Rubio, who has fallen to third place in the latest Florida poll, is scheduled to hold a meet and greet with campaign supporters at 2 p.m. on Monday at 'That Little Restaurant' located at 1749 North Wickham Road in Melbourne, Florida which only seats around 100 people. Tickets to the event have been sold out, according to Eventbrite.

The choice of a location with the name 'little' in it would seem rather peculiar given that Republican front-runner Donald Trump has repeatedly referred to the Senator from Florida as 'Little Marco' during GOP debates and in remarks on social media.

Following Trump's lead, Trump supporters have created photo-shopped 'Little Marco' Facebook memes depicting a shrunken Rubio in childlike settings.
