Newsweek interjects an unabashed editorial in a stunning headline on the cover of the magazine, "Hit the Road, Barack: Why We Need a New President" by Nial Ferguson, a former adviser to the John McCain.
Ferguson strongly criticizes President Barack Obama's record on taxation, healthcare, leadership, economic policy, and his representation of the U.S. on the world stage.
Liberal commentator and economic journalist Paul Krugman was quick to run to the President's aid. Krugman described Newsweek's cover story as 'unethical commentary' in his blog yesterday.
Specifically, Krugman took issue with Ferguson's article that the ACA [Affordable Care Act also known as Obamacare] was found by the Congressional Budge Office to increase the deficit. Krugman maintains that the CBO found to the contrary.
