VIERA, Florida -- The Brevard County Canvassing Board will meet on Tuesday to complete the Voting System Audit and Certification of the Official Results of the Brevard County Primary Election.

Pursuant to 102.111, Florida Statutes, NOTICE is hereby given that the Brevard County Canvassing Board will meet at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 21, 2012, for the Certification of the Official Results. The Canvassing Board will reconvene on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., to complete the Voting System Audit.
The meetings will be held at the Supervisor of Elections Viera Office, 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Building C, Viera, Florida.
Meetings of the Canvassing Board are open to the press, public, political parties, and candidates. The Brevard County Canvassing Board is comprised of Board Chairwoman and Brevard County Court Judge Kelly McKibben, Brevard County Commissioner Chuck Nelson, and Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott.
Pursuant to 286.0105, Florida Statutes, persons wishing to appeal decisions of this board may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
