Brevard County Early Voting Begins Today

BREVARD COUNTY, Florida -- Brevard County Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott reminds voters that Early Voting for the August 14, 2012, Primary Election begins Saturday, August 4, 2012 and ends on Saturday, August 11, 2012.

“The law governing Early Voting changed last year,” Scott said.  “Due to the reduction of the number of days I can conduct Early Voting and Brevard’s historical Early Voting turnout, I have expanded our Early Voting locations outside the five Election Offices to include the Melbourne, DeGroodt, and Melbourne Beach Libraries.”

Voters can take advantage of Early Voting at any of the eight locations throughout Brevard County; Weekdays 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.; and Weekends 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.  As a reminder, voters are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and to carry water as Early Voting wait times can fluctuate.  For a list of wait times, please visit the www.VoteBrevard.com website.

  1. I urge everyone to vote for Mitch Needelman for Clerk of Court. As a long time employee of the Clerk's Office I can tell you things run much better now. Ellis wants to turn the clock back to the old way of doing things and that means cutting pay for employees and closing branch offices. Needelman has kept us all employed when all the other Clerks Offices statewide are laying people off. Vote for Needelman!
