Opinion: Why I Support Laureen Trent For State House

To the Editor of the Brevard Times:

I want to endorse Laureen Trent for Florida State Representative District 53.  Laureen is one of the most amazing women I have the pleasure of knowing.  Not only is she kind and honest, but she is dedicated to making her district and this country a better place to live.

Laureen faces challenges head on and she pursues her cause when she knows it is the right way to go.  I have known Laureen for over twelve years and she has always conducted herself and her business with the utmost integrity.  District 53 will be lucky to have Laureen as their representative.

  2. John Tobia vs Laureen Trent. It is a tough question unless you know Laureen Trent. John rode the Tea Party wave in 2008 and has not done a bad job, keeps his office very open to the public, and cherishes the republican values of small government, less taxes, and incentives for small business. I believe, however, that Laureen will do so much better. She has been a highly respected businesswoman and an outstanding member of this community for a very long time. She is a true "Liberty Candidate" and has the political ideology, Christian values, and the drive and determination needed to actually make a difference. We can also be confident that she will never fall into the trap of compromising her priciples for the sake of political gain. Laureen Trent is honest, capable, and has what it takes to steer our state back in the right direction. I am voting for Laureen Trent and I encourage others to do so as well.
