Sheriff's Candidates To Shoot Guns, Zumba Today

BREVARD COUNTY, Florida -- Republican candidates for Brevard County Sheriff, Wayne Ivey and Todd Maddox will both hold unique fundraisers today.


Republican candidate for Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey will hold a Firearms, Fun, & Food Fundraiser on Saturday June 16, 2012 at the west end of Timbers West Boulevard in Rockledge, Florida from noon until 4 p.m.

Guns provided are .22 caliber, 308, 9 mm, and 50 caliber.  Enjoy shooting suppressed weapons and sniper rifles!


No children under 15 years of age are permitted due to safety concerns.  Entertainment provided by Tropical Yuppies.  Admission: $25 per person.

Meanwhile, voters could have a chance to Zumba with Todd Maddox and Instructor Cristina Aguerrevere at the County Line Saloon, 4650 West New Haven Drive in Melbourne, Florida, beginning at 2 p.m.  Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door.  There is a 200 person capacity for this event.

The purchase of a ticket for, or a contribution to, the campaign fundraiser for the above events is a contribution to the candidates' respective campaigns.
