According to a press release issued today, protestors will no long be able to protest near the entrance way of the Brevard County Government Complex.  The press release in its entirety follows:

VIERA, Fla. -- In light of the need to ensure safe ingress and egress, ensure adequate fire lanes, and address safety concerns from citizens who attended the September 13 budget hearing, a protest zone has been designated at the Viera Government Center.

The protest zone allows citizens to exercise their First Amendment right to free speech at any location within the County complex at 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, with the exception of the following:

•The covered area on the west side of Building C
    •Building C itself
•The sidewalk and small parking lot closest to the east side of Building C (similar to election code requirements)
•The corners at the intersection of Judge Fran Jamieson Way and the parking lot entrance road
•The U-shaped access road and fire lane abutting the reflection pond to the west of Building C.
[Map with designated area shown is attached]

The protest zone will go into effect today.
